Children Issues Package:
This package is to assist parents in creating an Order / Judgment that includes Custody and Parenting Time. When allowed by the local Friend of Court, an Order directing the Friend of the Court to calculate Child Support based on information submitted to the Friend of the Court. 90 minutes is allowed for the session including the drafting of the legal documents.
Pricing per couple, not per person:
In Port Huron Center, 8:30 am – 4: 30 pm (M-F) $375.00 (daytime)
In Port Huron Center, 4:30 pm – 6: 30 pm (M-F) $412.50 (late afternoon)
In Port Huron Center, 6:30 pm – 8: 30 pm (M-F) $432.00 (evening)
In Port Huron Center, 8:30 am – 4: 30 pm (S&S) $432.00 (weekend)
None Children Issues Package:
This package is to assist parties in creating an Order / Judgment that includes: Debt Distribution, Property Distribution, Retirement Distribution, Spousal Support. 120 minutes is allowed for the session, including the drafting of the legal documents.
Pricing per couple, not per person:
In Port Huron Center, 8:30 am – 4: 30 pm (M-F) $500.00 (daytime)
In Port Huron Center, 4:30 pm – 6: 30 pm (M-F) $550.00 (late afternoon)
In Port Huron Center, 6:30 pm – 8: 30 pm (M-F) $600.00 (evening)
In Port Huron Center, 8:30 am – 4: 30 pm (S&S) $600.00 (weekend)
Start To Finish (pro-per) Add-On:
For couples that want to use one attorney, this option may help. First, the parties with children purchase the Children Issues Package and None Children Issues Package above together with this package. Parties with no children purchase just the None Children Issues Package together with this package. If the parties are able to resolve all issues, the parties waive the conflict of interest and have the facilitator then, and only then, acting as an attorney, draft the original court documents required to start the divorce action, the documents to have the final documents enter, including a script for “putting on proofs” as required by law in Court.
$375.00 (does not include a court filing fee of either $175 (no children) or $255 (with children). Forms to request a waiver of court fees provided at no charge.
Start To Finish (In Court Attorney – St. Clair County) Add-On:
For couples that want to use one attorney, this option may help. First, the parties with children purchase the Children Issues Package and None Children Issues Package above together with this package. Parties with no children purchase just the None Children Issues Package together with this package. If the parties are able to resolve all issues, the parties waive the conflict of interest and have the facilitator then, and only then, acting as an attorney, draft the original court documents required to start the divorce action, the documents to have the final documents enter, the attorney appears in court with one or both parties for “putting on proofs” as required by law in Court.

If you use ALL the services above (with an attorney in court) and can resolve your issues within the times allowed, and have no children, the price is as low as $1,375.00 (plus court filing fees if any), and as low as $1,750.00 with children (plus court filing fees if any) and remember, this is per couple, not per party. If your case is outside of Saint Clair County, or your desire services outside of our ADR Center, prices may vary or be the same depending on options.
Hours:
Our Daytime hours start no earlier than 8:30 am and must conclude by 11:30 am and start no earlier than 1:30 pm and must conclude by 4:30 am
Late Afternoon must conclude by 6:30 pm
Evening hours must conclude by 8:30 pm
If a time is selected that covers more than one rate, the highest rate applies
Payments / Steps :
Step 1: Both Parties sign the agreement with MiADR Center
Step 2: Both Parties pay their share for the packages desired
Step 3: Both Parties fill out the in-take forms and submit them to MiADR Center
Step 4: A date and time is selected for Mediation
Step 5: Mediation Sessions (including drafting documents)
Step 6: (option) parties decide if they want a Start to Finish Add-On and who will pay for the Add-On.
Step 7: (option) documents to start case are filed by MiADR Center, FOC does Support Calculation (if there are children)
Date / Time Selected:
We will work with the parties to reach an agreement on a date and time for the mediation session(s). If there is a change by MiADR Center, there will be no charge. Each party may make a request for one change at least 72 hours prior to the mediation sesssion at no charge. If the request is less than 72 hours, the session will need to be paid for again. If there is more than one request for a date and time change, the session will need to be paid for again.
Once a session is paid for, the same is none-refundable. If one party pays and the other party does not pay, the party that paid is not entitled to a refund.
Payments can be made using VISA / MASTER CARD/ AMEX or E-Check.
